Knee Braces
Braceworks expertise in knee braces is definitely not superficial
Marc has fun with his knee brace

Marc Schneider has relied on a knee brace himself since 1980. As a professional with an extensive backgorund in orthopaedic bracing, he employs a number of different braces to enjoy an active life.

Marc elevated his knowledge of knee care well beyond the foundations of his professional expertise as a Certified Orthotist. Since injuring his anterior cruciate ligament in 1978, he gained valuable first hand experience with a variety of treatments for knee ligament injuries, osteoarthritis and chondromalacia including surgery, rehabilitation, bracing and medication. Combined with clinical knowledge, his personal experience yields an extra dimension of care.

Consult Marc for his unique combination of personal experience and clinical expertise to gain the insight you require in making the well-informed and educated decisions about your bracing options.

Tips from Marc regarding Osteoarthritis
Regular exercise involving low impact activities such as cycling and strength training are key to maintaining range of motion. Pain and loss of range of motion are clues to follow up with your rehabilitation specialist for a tune-up. Marc takes Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate supplement to relieve pain from osteoarthritis. Visit www.arthritis.org for more information on this supplement.

The Competitive Edge
Determination helps athletes excel. A cool head and a healthy concern for safety get you to the finish line. Many competitors in motocross and other extreme sports wear knee braces and other orthotics to guard against injury. Be careful. Ask Marc about armour plating your joints.
