Bob’s leadership is well established in Canadian Sport. He brings years of insight and experience in optimal functional training recovery and effective injury management to members of the communities of Calgary, Okotoks, High River, Nanton and Clairsholm.
He served Canadian National Team Athletes at over 25 major international events including:
– 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico
– 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia (Chief Therapist)
– 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia (Medical Staff, Field Hockey Canada)
– 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan
Bob is currently Lead Physiotherapist with Field Hockey Canada, Integrated Science & Technology Team.
Prior to entering private practice in 1996, Bob specialized in sports medicine with the Glen Sather Sport Medicine Centre at the University of Alberta followed by the Sport Medicine Centre at the University of Calgary.
Bob earned Bachelor Degrees in Kinesiology and Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta followed by a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology, including a fellowship in Sport Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia (1988).
