How to transition from pediatric to young adult rehabilitation

The Young Adult Rehabilitation Clinic is located at the Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre.
The program provides physical medicine and rehabilitation provided by Physiatrists for youth with disabilities including brain injury, cerebral palsy, myelomeningocele/spinal cord injury, neuromuscular conditions, limb deficiency and other neuro-developmental disorders transition from pediatric care at the Alberta Children’s Hospital to adult care in the community.
The program is dedicated to adult patients with child-onset neurological conditions, which assists patients transitioning from pediatric care to the adult world.
