Calgary highlights. |
Adult programs in Calgary offer participants encouraging creativity and socialization activities. Art FUNdamentals and Music Therapy programs are well-loved by all who attend.
Calgary also has a new music program for children aged 12 and under beginning in July. This session may be full, but the second session will open up in August 2016. See the events schedule in Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta. |
Art FUNdamentals |
Participants explore different materials and art making techniques, such as pencil on paper and acrylic paint on canvas. Participants can make sculptures using wood, plaster and clay. The main goal of the class is to have fun and be creative and is suitable for participants of all abilities.

Music Therapy |
Participants experience different instruments and songs, while interacting within a group setting. Music Therapy allows participants to express themselves using music – and increase self-confidence by learning to play the instruments and new songs. Edmonton highlights |
In Edmonton, we offer programs for children and youth promoting both learning and healthy living.
Whether you are looking to explore your child’s creative side through our Scribbles & Giggles program, or want to learn yoga in a fun, exploratory way – with animal poses and stories in our Yoga Bees classes. Registration is now open for upcoming sessions. |
Scribbles and Giggles |
This six week children’s art program is open to children of all ability levels. The adapted program is designed to enhance children’s physical, mental and emotional well-being through the exploration of various art forms such as painting, clay and much more!

Yoga Bees |
This six week gentle movement class is open to children of all ability levels. The adapted program provides an opportunity for children to explore yoga in a fun, warm, non-competitive and supportive environment!

Steptember 2016 |
Preparations are underway for this year’s Steptember campaign. The annual international campaign encourages health and team development and raises funds and awareness for cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

Life without Limits Challenge 2016 |
September also brings the Life without Limits Challenge to the CPAA
Register here. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event, taking place both in Calgary and Edmonton. Run, Walk or Wheel around the park on a 5km route. For riders in Calgary who want even more of a challenge, we are offering the Kevin’s Kruise 20km cycle route. |
