Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta, CPAA programs for adults and children.
|Adult programs in Calgary offer participants encouraging creativity and socialization activities. Art FUNdamentals and Music Therapy programs are well-loved by all who attend.
Calgary also has a new music program for children aged 12 and under beginning in July. This session may be full, but the second session will open up in August 2016. See the events schedule in Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta.
|Participants explore different materials and art making techniques, such as pencil on paper and acrylic paint on canvas. Participants can make sculptures using wood, plaster and clay. The main goal of the class is to have fun and be creative and is suitable for participants of all abilities.|
|Participants experience different instruments and songs, while interacting within a group setting. Music Therapy allows participants to express themselves using music – and increase self-confidence by learning to play the instruments and new songs.
