PaceKids

Pacekids is a dynamic, active environment, specializing in family-centred, therapeutic learning objectives that nurture each child’s unique developmental and physical needs through a variety of programs. Our personalized, tailored 1:1 aide services are available both in-home and at-centre for Developmental, Behavioural, Specialized Services, Family support and Early Childhood/Speech and Language Enhancement Classes.

Classes are small, inclusive and FUN! We offer highly trained aides to work with your child 1:1, and support them with very qualified and experienced supervisors and therapists in the disciplines of Speech, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and Physiotherapy.

As well as supporting your child, we provide you and your family with strategies, skills and information to meet every-day challenges successfully and help transition your child through to their next stages of development.

Pacekids Society for Children with Special Needs is a registered, non-profit, charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of parents of Pacekids’ children, as well as other community members.

Founded in 1994, Pacekids holds a Private ECS Operator License from Alberta Education, and offers a Family Support Program for infants through funding from Family Services for Children with Disabilities, an Alberta Human Services program. Pacekids continuously emphasizes the importance of the special needs child and the family unit.
