Each year, thousands of Alberta families apply for provincial FSCD funding to support their children with disabilities.
This program, Family Support for Children with Disabilities, funds respite care and expenses for out-of-town medical appointments, and also can fund therapy and other support for children once a case worker has been assigned.
But advocates say the waitlists for FSCD have increased substantially. CBC News wants to know what impact the FSCD program is having on local kids and families. Please share your experience with us through the survey embedded below and share it with other families in this situation.
