GRIT Calgary Society offers therapy and education programs for preschool children who are eligible for Program Unit Funding (PUF). The needs of the child and family help to determine the components of each child’s Individual Program Plan. GRIT is designed to offer an educational alternative to parents who wish to be actively involved in their child’s education. The home can be a highly effective educational setting for young children, especially for children who are immune compromised or medically fragile.

In addition, the GRIT program is able to support children in their community preschool. Individual Program Plans are developed by the Education Consultants in collaboration with the parents and therapy team. This plan guides the work and interactions with your child across the team and family members.
