DSAA Summer Fundraising Kickoff

David Cormack is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Disabled Sailing Association of Alberta.

Donate directly to DSAA with no additional commitment. Here is the link to that page, DONATE — DSAA (dsaalberta.org).

Help us reach our goal.

Founded in 1994 and located in Calgary, the DSAA provides sailing opportunities for those of differing ability levels throughout the province. Each year, we help hundreds of children and adults by introducing them to the sport of sailing.

By promoting sport and recreational activities to these individuals, we are instilling a new level of confidence and independence into their lives, all while creating a space of inclusivity and diversity. This season, DSAA hopes to expand our programs and offer more opportunities for all community members to be a part of sport and recreation.

This year DSAA was unable to secure the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) grant to help cover the wages of our seasonal staff. Without this grant, DSAA is heavily relying on the support of community partners, sponsors and donors – such as yourself – to help support our 2023 sailing season. 100% of the proceeds from this fundraising initiative will be donated to DSAA.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. I am planning to fundraise until Friday, June 30th.

Show your support and buy a Milk Jar Candle! Order by noon on July 5th for pick up at the DSAA Stampede Breakfast on July 8 from 10 am – 2 pm.

If you have any questions about the organization, this fundraiser or want to become involved with the DSAA, please reach out to me!
