Christine Meikle School

Christine Meikle School is a unique setting for secondary school-age students with moderate to severe cognitive disabilities and/or complex learning, medical, emotional, sensory or behavioural needs. This program draws Junior and Senior high school students (12 to 19 years of age) from all areas of Calgary.

It’s a beautiful, warm, saltwater therapeutic pool that has a ramp for kids to go in and hold onto bars. Global News

The program helps students develop skills and attitudes necessary to become successful members of the community.

Programming components include: functional academics, work experience, activities of daily living, adaptive physical education, fine arts, assistive technology, augmentative communication and sensory motor development.
